After obtaining control of StuyTown in October 2010, CW implemented sweeping, strategic solutions to the property’s financial and operational challenges. CW’s adept interventions resulted in a 45% increase in NOI, resolution of complicated tenant litigation, 170% growth in property value, and efficient renovation and lease-up of more than 900 units. Following these improvements, CW sold the property in 2015, achieving more than a complete recovery for the CMBS trust.
